The crawling tortoise thinks
The comic spectacle back home about the real supremo Amitabh Bachhan and the guy with a twaang 'shahrukh khan' is getting over my nerves. I mean can't they jst try to coexist, without feeding the media. The news of one guy upstaging the other, pulling the invisible carpet and the chair looks sooo kiddish. However, although, me being a die hard AB fan(Agneepath 16 times!!) , SRK scores in 1) Going ahead cooooly with KBC despite of detractors, and definately establishing his own style 2) Atleast not promoting his 'very young' son of being a great actor to the limit where it starts irritating most of level-headed people 3) Not getting a car from a producer (No harm in that...but why publicize it). The car story was like a person getting a car for the first time in life. I suppose the Big man already has no garage space to park another of those bigg mean machines (Ofcourse he could have said 'no' to a car..but probably saying 'no' in the 'Hindi-stry' is getting in the bhai's and bhai-jaan's...but doesnt the big man understand, that he can afford to say no' at this stage! Ofcourse , he could have said no to many of his movies too. Thats where a guy like Amir Khan stands up..ofcourse many could say he s boring since all the film-mag's usually dont have anything about him...the extreme sense of maturity is so evident even while the guy is off camera's. However, all this is being done supposedly to entertain the 'mindless'public..but hey people love gossip..thats the human nature, the quality of gossip could certainly be improved by you guys.Ramu's confession of being over indulgent is commendable. I always felt he was one guy who was the creative struggller in the stereotype film industry. He was 'Howard Roark' till the point where he forgot about Howard's selflessness. He had certainly turned out into a self obssessed reel waster, heroine (antara) -addict, who could 'make ' or 'break' careers..the filmi style. However, this confession needs to be followed by some real good movies. Lets hope the creativity returns back.
